Simultaneous interpretation requires years of training and is done in a soundproof booth. The exercise if mentally so demanding that interpreters work in teams of at least 2, taking turns every 30 minutes. Fast and efficient. I provide the following: EN<>FR | DE > FR | NL > FR
Consulting: All languages.
Consecutive interpreting
Consecutive interpretation doesn't require any equipment and is perfect for small-sized meetings where time is not a constraint. Speakers take the floor for 7-10 minutes before stopping and letting the interpreter translate into the target language. More time consuming but incomparably useful for negotiations.
I provide the following: EN<>FR | DE<>FR | NL > FR

RSI
Remote Simultaneous Interpreting, using a platform like Zoom or Interprefy. Imposes a heavier cognitive load on all participants and comes with demanding technical requirements to work smoothly. Cheaper than in-person meetings, this option often suffers from the hazards of technology.
I provide the following: EN<>FR | DE > FR | NL > FR
